Mother - Home
3.9 - 12.11, 2000
During the first years of the 20th century the mother of the Finnish artist was one of her most important motives. The artist lived in a self-chosen isolation from the world in a small village outside Helsinki. She lived in a small hosehold with only her and her mother, whom she loved to portray and often did. |
