Guest Studios

The museum has five guest studios.

Region Västra Götaland has one of the cabins at their disposal during parts of the year for their international guest program.

Artists rent cabins for the price of 500 SEK/night.

The public rent them for 1000 SEK/night.

The aims of The Nordic Watercolour Museum's
guest studios are:

To encourage meetings between artists;

To make available locales and resources for intensive study courses, further training, art projects and so on for both art school students and professional artists;

To ensure that the above collaboration, studies, experiments and projects are brought to the attention of an interested general public, in the form of exhibitions, publications, the Internet, lectures etc.;

To offer artists, illustrators, designers, scenographers, architects and so on, who have familiarised themselves with watercolour techniques, opportunities for artistic work in the form of studio visits, of both short and long duration;

The studios have one large bed, and cooking facilities.
