Thursdays on Stage: The advantages and disadvantages of the patriarchy
Thursdays on Stage is a brand new concept produced by the Nordic Watercolour Museum, Vatten Restaurang & Kafé och Tjörns kultur- and teaterförening (Tjörn Culture & Theatre Association). We want to make Thursday evenings a reason to come together and share culture experiences of all kinds!
This Thursday, we invite you to an evening packed with comedy!
THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF THE PATRIARCHY
In her first solo performance, which is now on tour for the second season, Elinor Svensson picks apart the patriarchy and all that it entails. We will determine at last the advantages and disadvantages of the patriarchy by means of hilarious, award-winning standup, but also with song, because...well, why not? This will be a full-body experience that no one will want to miss (because anyone that does is a misogynist, obviously).
Elinor Svensson has mastered the challenging art of blending a dash of vulnerability into crude jokes on tough subjects. This is a performance that is personal, boundary-pushing, and never without an impressive sense of humour. Elinor was nominated in 2017 for Female Comic of the Year and she has been heard, among other places, on radio station P3’s show Tankesmedjan (Think Tank).
The show is held in Swedish.
100 SEK for anyone under the age of 26 and for members of Tjörns kultur- och teaterförening.

THURSDAYS ON STAGE
A place, a stage, a Thursday evening at 7 pm – and why not with a glass of something tasty? We will meet at Vatten Restaurang & Kafé to enjoy a delightful programme of culture in every form. Comedy, theatre and food intermingle with poetry, dance and art. Thursdays on Stage is a concept produced by the Nordic Watercolour Museum, Vatten Restaurang & Kafé and Tjörns kultur- och teaterförening (Tjörn Culture & Theatre Association). We want to make Thursday evenings a reason to come together and share experiences. And of course, to enjoy ourselves.
