Course in Watercolour and Collage Technique

Dare to develop your visual creativity! This course provides inspiration through collage technique, starting from the participants’ own painting and motif world. The focus is on composition, and exercises in simplifying the imagery. Basic watercolour skills are an advantage, so that we can concentrate on playful collage experimentation. All elements of the course will be demonstrated by the course leader. During the course we will clearly show techniques for mounting, gluing and heat transfer of collage elements.

Friday 8 March at 10 am–5 pm
Saturday 9 March at 9 am–5 pm
Sunday 10 March at 9–am 4 pm
Price:
5 500 SEK incl. lunch at Vatten Restaurang & Kafé and break refreshments, excl. materials and accommodation.

Lars A Persson is a visual artist and art educator who lives and works in Umeå. During spring 2024 he is part of the "Process – On the Joy of Painting Watercolour" exhibition at The Nordic Watercolour Museum.
