Light, Weather and Ambience! The Wild and Free!
This event has passed

info
This course is part of an inter-Nordic event for members of The Nordic Watercolour Society. Further information and registration at www.akvarellen.org .
About the course:
Watercolour differs from all other painting techniques. Its pigments dissolve in water and take their place on the paper in their own unique way. In watercolour painting, each colour does not simply represent a hue: each pigment has its own special properties.
As a participant on this course you will learn to use water flows, bites and accumulations. We get to know the fast, fluid technique for depicting light, moments and ambiences. Together, we are inspired by the light of spring and the surrounding nature, and weather permitting we will work on sketches outdoors.
Practical demonstrations are intertwined with theoretical reasoning, and you will have plenty of time for your own painting and experimentation. You don’t need to “excel” at the course, as long as you are interested and have a bit of courage!
Please note that membership in the Nordic Watercolour Society is required to participate in the course.
