Outdoor Tour / Art & Nature
This event has passed
info
Together with Nordens Ark, we focus on the art and nature surrounding the museum. The museum's educators provide insights into the public artworks located around the museum, and staff from Nordens Ark share information about some of the fascinating species we encounter in the local area and how the sea and land are affected by climate change.
For those who want to get creative, the guided tour is followed by a watercolour workshop related to the theme. The workshop takes place outdoors (weather permitting) and is completely free of charge.
We will meet outside the museum entrance. No prior registration is required. Please dress according to the weather, as both the guided tour and the workshop will take place outdoors.
The West Coast Maritime Week
The Nordic Watercolor Museum is part of Västerhavsveckan ("The West Coast Maritime Week"). Västerhavsveckan has been held every year since 2008 and is an initiative to increase awareness of our marine environment and the sustainable use of its resources. Along the entire west coast, from Strömstad in the north to Landskrona in the south, activities and events for all ages are being held.
