Skärhamn School exhibits self-portraits at the Museum
- Updated
There are approximately 280 students at Skärhamn School, spanning from preschool to grade 6. In the fall of 2023, the school's pupils visited the exhibition Psychological Spaces for a guided tour and workshop together with the art educators at The Nordic Watercolour Museum.
Throughout the fall semester of 2023, the pupils explored self-portraits in various ways within the art curriculum. These portraits will be displayed on the museum's upper floor from 11 February to 19 March 2024.
After 19 March, the exhibition on the upper floor will change. Starting March 26, works by students from grades 3 and 6 at Rönnäng School will be showcased upstairs. Collaborating with the museum's art educators, they focused on Agenda 2030, more specifically on goals number 14 and 15. This exhibition will run from 26 March to 5 May, 2024.
