info
Welcome to a cosy autumn holiday evening at The Nordic Watercolour Museum!
We will be screening ten episodes from the animated series Legends from Sápmi, based on Sámi fairy tales, myths and legends. Through these stories, we learn about the Sámi creation myth, in which the world was created from a reindeer doe, hear the tale of how the Sámi outwitted the foolish Stallo into marrying a log, and discover how the reindeer came to have blue hooves.
Each episode is approximately 7 minutes long, with a total running time of around 70 minutes. Join us for all ten episodes or drop in for just a few. Recommended for ages 6 and up, but visitors of all ages are welcome. The screening will be held in Swedish, with Swedish subtitles.
Free admission, no pre- booking required. We'll provide snacks for the screening.
Tip: Before the film screening, join our Flashlight Tour at the museum.
