The Coastal Archive – A Watercolour Course
This event has passed

info
Taking inspiration from nature and vegetation, we study the coastal life forms through watercolour. Drawing and the element of chance in painting guide us through a landscape of colour, form, and exploration. In this course, we collect and closely examine the richness of nature's variations, discovering new worlds in the minutiae. Over three days, we dedicate ourselves to intense painting, exploring how drawing and painting can converge.

About
Anneli Pihlgren
Anneli Pihlgren, an artist and course leader based in Gothenburg, is unafraid to explore beauty with colour, rhythm, and composition, along with her unique sensibility. In her drawings and watercolours, there is a meditative quality where straws, needles, and random fragments from the ground suddenly appear as calligraphic texts.
