Watercolour Course: Abstract Landscapes
This event has passed

info
Welcome to an atmospheric watercolour course with artist Carina Köster, where simplification is both method and expression. We explore the colours of the season – strong contrasts in winter white with frozen ice or soft gray veils – and capture the lines and subtle nuances of the coastal landscape.
During the course, we mix different shades of gray and experiment with white watercolour paint, watercolour crayons and oil pastels – exciting elements that open up new expressions. Through simplification and abstraction, we let the landscape speak in colour, shape and texture, and explore how pigment and water can create mood on watercolour paper.
The course days will be creative and experimental. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced painter, you are warmly welcome to take part. A detailed materials list will be sent out well in advance of the course start.
