Welcome to inspiring days of painting with the artist Ulla Ohlson!
The longer days and the returning light give the landscape a unique range of colours. The soft light falls at a low angle across the rocky outcrops and the water – a perfect starting point for watercolour painting.
We head outdoors to capture impressions in our sketchbooks of the nearby rocks and the distant coastal landscape, and bring these back into the museum's studio, where we focus on simplifying the motif and capturing the light. We experiment with different materials and techniques, alternating theory and demonstrations with individual guidance, and end each day with a group review of the day’s work. Theory and demonstrations will be combined with individual guidance tailored to your current level of painting.
Whether you are an experienced painter or a beginner, you are warmly welcome to join. The aim is to give you tools to develop your painting and deepen your understanding of the possibilities of watercolour. Welcome to a course where water and paint are allowed to flow!
