Paint the season – a course in watercolour
This event has passed
info
Join us for exciting days of painting in the fantastic environments of Bohuslän!
The soft autumn light with its unique colour scale gives a very special feeling of the dramatic cliffs, islands and water that surround The Nordic Watercolour Museum in Skärhamn. We use this to our advantage, when we head out to capture impressions by sketching the nearby cobbles and the distant coastal landscape. We bring the material with us into the museum's course studio, where we practice the difficult art of simplification and try to capture the seasonal light.
The course is recommended for those who have basic knowledge and experience of watercolour painting. We will experiment with different materials and techniques. Theory and demonstrations are mixed with individual tutoring, depending on where you stand in your painting practice.
