Part 2: Work in progress-reading ARV
- 5 SEP & 6 SEP 1.00 pm
- The Exhibition

info
On this occasion, you are invited to experience the second of three parts in the ongoing performing arts project ARV by Teater Spera. On Saturday 5 September and Sunday 6 September at 1 pm, you’re welcome to attend a reading of a documentary-poetic text that forms the foundation of the performing arts work being developed by the theatre group on site at The Nordic Watercolour Museum throughout the year. ARV seeks the lived experiences, traumas, and worldviews of its ancestors in order to explore how these continue to live on, manifest themselves within us, and form generations.
What you will hear is not a finished work, but a step along the way – an inhale within the rhythm of creation.
The readings take place within the exhibition, starting at 1 pm. No pre-booking required. Free of charge, admission to the museum is required. Duration approximately 20 minutes.

About:
ARV (“Heritage”) is a performing arts series presented at The Nordic Watercolour Museum in collaboration with Teater Spera during 2026. The series explores themes centered on the past and how it shapes the present. Developed in dialogue with the museum’s spaces, the series creates encounters between visual art, performing arts, and poetic text.
Through readings and staged performance, temporary, site-specific events emerge in which voice, body, and text enter into dialogue with the exhibitions. ARV operates in a third space – between the visual and the performative.
Teater Spera is an independent theatre collective consisting of two performing artists based on Tjörn. Their focus is on creating innovative performing works of art, using body, voice, and text, developed through process and concept. Previous productions include Tal till nationen (“Speech to the Nation”), Nya blickar/kropp (“New Gazes/Body”), and Sammanflätade element (“Intertwined Elements”).
