<p>Alba S. Enström has a particular interest in questions of identity within a complex reality and often looks beyond the established order and the set norms of the bourgeoisie. An important strand in his creative work is love and its distinctive forms of expression, such as the bondage culture. Enström’s images teem with interacting figures. In the figurative, colourful visual language there are often references to the underground scene, where music — Patti Smith among others — plays an important role.
