<p>Gry Moursund creates colourful stories loved by both adults and children alike. She grew up in Northern Norway and trained in illustration and graphic design in Norway and England. She has worked with picture books since 1999 and has become known for her playful and colourful expressions that lie near to the visual language of children. She has received the Norwegian Ministry of Culture’s picture book prize three times, for example in March 2010 for <i>Bukkene Bruse på badeland</i> ("The Billy Goats Gruff at the Swimming Pool"), which has garnered great success in Norway and has also been published in Sweden.</p>
