Inge Schiöler
- Sweden, 1908

The bohuslän artist Inge Schiöler (1908–1971) was a colourful painter who is appreciated for his west coast motifs. He educated himself at the school of Craft and at Valand in Gothenburg and is regarded as one of the Gothenburg colourists. He painted in nature and was eager to transform the direct vision experience into colour in his works. The Dock in Strömstad is a very early image by a young aspiring artist, painted before his breakthrough.
