<p>Lisa Jeannin is a versatile artist working with installations, animation, performance art and drawing. She has studied at the Malmö Art Academy and at Akademie voor Kunst en Vormgeving, in the Netherlands and has collaborated with Rolf Schuurmans since 2005. Together they have created a number of complex installations and have had exhibitions throughout Europe and the USA. Jeannin’s process often starts with her drawings, which she, with great ingenuity, transforms into installations and from there, works back again to create new drawings. She is interested in a non-linear narrative and often puts together her drawings in fragmentary series. With cunning humour, but also with utmost seriousness, she builds fantasy worlds with surreal overtones.</p>
