<p><span lang="EN-US">Svenrobert Lundqvist was a painter, graphic designer, sculptor and educator. He was educated at the Valand School of Fine Art in Gothenburg in the 1960s where, 20 years later, he became Head of Department. Lundqvist had many solo exhibitions in Sweden and abroad, was known for his public works, and is represented in many important museum collections around the world. In addition to Lundqvist’s main areas of expression – sculpture and graphic design – he also worked with the paintbrush. His dark tinted watercolours with trees as a recurring motif remind us of the darkness and intensity of the woodcut.</span></p>
