The Nordic Watercolour Museum is situated on the island of Tjörn, 70 kilometres north of Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast. 

Car

From Gothenburg follow the brown and white signs north on the E6. From Stenungsund cross the Tjörn bridges. After the bridges turn left onto road 169. Follow the brown and white signs to Skärhamn and the Nordic Watercolour Museum.

From Uddevalla follow the brown and white signs south on the E6. From Stenungsund cross the Tjörn bridges. After the bridges turn left onto road 169. Follow the brown and white signs to Skärhamn and the Nordic Watercolour Museum.

CAR–POOLING

Bus

Leave the bus in Skärhamn at the stop called 'Kommunhuset'. Then follow the signs to Södra Hamnen/Akvarellmuseet. The walk takes 10 to 15 minutes. A direct bus runs from Gothenburg a number of times a day. For bus times, visit www.vasttrafik.se

Airport

The nearest airports are the Landvetter Airport and the Göteborg City Airport.

Train

The nearest railway station is at Stenungsund, about 25 kilometres from Södra Hamnen in Skärhamn. Local buses run from the railway station to Skärhamn. Visit www.vasttrafik.se
