The Nordic Watercolour Museum is situated on the island of Tjörn, 70 kilometres north of Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast.
From Gothenburg follow the brown and white signs north on the E6. From Stenungsund cross the Tjörn bridges. After the bridges turn left onto road 169. Follow the brown and white signs to Skärhamn and the Nordic Watercolour Museum.
