U.S Watercolour

An exhibition, curated by Kim Levin. This is a journey through the multi-facetted range of watercolour and its borderlands, and illustrates the cultural variety to be found in such a large land as the USA. The journey takes us from the sun-drenched shores of California, via the cultures of the Native American population to the situation of the black women in the southern states. The exhibition can be experienced as a timely report on the USA today.

Participating artists: Polly Apfelbaum, David Dupuis, Nicole Eisenman, Tony Feher, Spencer Finch, Tim gardner, Brad Kahlhamer, Roxy Paine, Kara Walker.
