From the Museum Collection
The Nordic Watercolour Museum continuously acquires work by exhibiting Nordic artists. As a result, the collection reflects the museum’s history. At the same time, it offers insights into the development of watercolour art. The purpose of the collection is to expand our understanding of what watercolour art can be, contain and express. The collection is the centre of the museum’s activities – in exhibitions, in art education, and in research. It is a trove of contemporary art and a future cultural legacy.
