Creative and interested in art! Welcome to the museum to meet, look at art and make something of your own.

There are many works of art in the Nordic Watercolor Museum's collection. Often we see them grouped together in different exhibits. What happens if we highlight one work at a time?

One Thursday evening a month we select a new original work from our art archive. The work becomes the starting point for creative workshops and conversations in the free workshop. We offer coffee/tea and cake. From 12 years.

The collection is a crucial and vital part of the museum's activities, both in exhibitions and in art education work. One of the Nordic Watercolor Museum's goals is to make the watercolor technique visible as a living and aesthetically powerful element in our contemporary visual culture. We start from the possibilities of watercolor and spread knowledge about how artists today and in history used water and pigments to create art.
