From the Museum Collection

The Nordic Watercolor Museum continuously acquires work by exhibiting Nordic artists. As a result, the collection reflects the museum's history and also offers insights into the development of watercolour art.
The purpose of the collection is to expand our understanding of what watercolour art can be, contain and express. The collection is the core of the museum's activities – in exhibitions, in art education, and in research. It is a trove of contemporary art and a future cultural legacy.
