A warm welcome to celebrate the opening of the spring exhibitions with us.
The Nordic Watercolour Museum begins 2026 with a presentation of contemporary picture book illustration from Finland. This exhibition is a tribute to the picture book as an art form and to the magic that arises when images, words and imagination come together in the hands of some of Finland’s most significant illustrators. The exhibition features works by ten visual artists and illustrators, who have been selected as representatives of the most innovative, expressive and multifaceted aspects of contemporary Finnish picture-book art. In addition, an exhibition featuring works from the museum's collection will be on display.
