Swedish Finns’ Day

info
For several years, Swedish Finns’ Day has been celebrated on the 24th February. The day was established to highlight the history, language, and culture of the Swedish-Finnish minority. Swedish Finns have a long history in Sweden and are considered the country’s largest minority group.
At The Nordic Watercolour Museum, we mark the day in connection with our exhibition featuring Finnish picture book illustrations. The museum will be open in the evening and will offer a free programme (read more below). And who knows – maybe some special offers or discounts will pop up.
