Sportlov School Holiday at the museum

Just in time for the museum opening its doors to the exhibition Kollektivet / Picture Book Illustration from Finland, the February school break begins on Tjörn! Visit the museum to experience art, picture books and creativity. There’s something happening every day of the week:
Saturday 7 February
Exhibition opening! Come and celebrate the opening of our spring exhibitions!
1.30–4.00 pm: Opening Workshop
3.00–4.00 pm: Artist Talk
Sunday 8 February
11.00 am–2.00 pm: Paint watercolours with Jenny Lucander
11.00 am–2.00 pm: Try on scratchboard with Lena Frölander-Ulf
2.00–3.00 pm: Guided tour with participating artists

Kollektivet / Picture Book Illustration from Finland.
The newly opened exhibition Kollektivet ("The Collective") is a tribute to the picture book as an art form – and to the magic that arises when images, words, and imagination meet in the hands of some of Finland’s most significant illustrators. Participating artists: Linda Bondestam, Jenni Erkintalo, Lena Frölander-Ulf, Edith Hammar, Maija Hurme, Erika Kallasmaa, Jenny Lucander, Laura Merz, Sanna Pelliccioni and Maria Sann
