Lectures
There are different ways of teaching, but infinitely more ways of learning. For many, the most effective learning takes place when new knowledge is translated into meaningful practice. The museum’s educational activities provide opportunities for both children and adults to try expressing themselves through colour and form, which paves the way for more insightful exhibition visitors – and perhaps even sows the seed for future art historians and practitioners. Here, there is both time and space for creative learning – but what about in ordinary schools?
With more than thirty years of experience in school building design, architect Anna Törnquist speaks about the importance of creating conditions for practical, creative learning in everyday school life.

About
What do neuroscience, AI, and education have to do with an art museum? Can a museum influence more than what fits within the frame? We present a series of digital jubilee lectures where we meet experts researching fields far beyond art. Together, we explore the question of what the role of an art museum is in a broader context.
