Here on the website, we’ve gathered all the information you need about the museum’s opening hours and activities during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
We are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day – otherwise, we are open as usual.
December 17–22: Open 11 am–4 pm
December 23-25: Closed
December 26-29: Open 11 am–4 pm
December 30–January 1: Closed
January 2–5: Open 11 am–4 pm
At the museum, you can both see and do – even at Christmas! Experience art, join a guided tour, or let your creativity shine.
Guided tours (in Swedish)
Why not join a guided tour during the festive season? The museum is closed on Wednesdays 25 December and 1 January, but otherwise, our tours are held as usual: on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 2 pm. Please note that the guided tours are held in Swedish. Read more
Christmas Holiday Workshop
Explore the colours of winter in watercolour and let frosty landscapes inspire you in our holiday workshop. Paint sparkling snow, ice-covered lakes, and winter skies shimmering in cool tones. The workshop is open from 26 December to 5 January, 11 am–3 pm, except on days when the museum is closed. Read more
